What to expect
We are fully committed to attracting and retaining the very best candidates. We will always aim to respond to candidates interested in working for Kids Planet quickly and efficiently. Once you have completed an application form and been shortlisted for a specific role then you will be invited to attend an interview with our management team.
Our interviews are generally competency based and give you the opportunity to talk about your skills and experience and your specific strengths. Interviews will last up to an hour.
Occasionally individuals may be required to attend an assessment centre. We aim to make the experience fun and exciting. We always aim to ensure that we provide the opportunity to show case your skills and really shine.
What to bring
You will receive an email confirming your attendance at interview and confirmation of what to bring. Generally, you will be required to bring documents that prove you have the right to work in the UK and confirmation of where you live that will enable us to complete a DBS check, a requirement for all roles.

There are many different routes to take when starting out on your career. One option is to start your working life as an apprentice. With Kids Planet we are dedicated to recruiting and developing apprentices who can demonstrate that they are truly passionate about childcare. Everyone is talented in their way and we aim to enable you to shine. We will always aim to make sure that the contribution of our apprentices is recognised.
Dedicated to childcare and with natural talent for inspiring children and nurturing their needs this has to be one of the fundamental roles that makes Kids Planet special. Ideally qualified to Level 2 and Level 3 qualified. Experience within a nursery setting and/or working with early years
Our senior staff members have developed exceptional practice as a Practitioner and have earnt their place as a senior who acts as a leader and role model for all staff members. Level 3 qualified. Experience within a nursery setting and or working with early years
With key skills in all aspects of Early Years our Room Leaders are critical in providing the day to day structure for the seniors and Nursery Practitioners which in turn ensures that the children in our care receive the best possible start to their day. These roles provide vital experience for anyone looking to moving into management. Level 3 qualified. Experience within a nursery setting and working with early years

Deputy Managers play a significant role in supporting the management team and we have seen a significant number of our employees grow and develop into these roles. We consider our Deputy Managers as our talent pool for the future. Degree/Diploma, Level 3 qualified with exceptional experience in managing people and providing the highest standards of care. Experience within a nursery setting and working with early years.

Cook In Charge
Providing the right food at the right time and with the right nutritional value is an important role at Kids Planet. Our cooks are selected and developed to ensure that the children receive the right balance of food throughout the day. Whether breakfast, lunch, dinner or snack time we can always rely on our catering team to ensure that the children have the balance they need. Our Kitchens are maintained to an excellent standard.
Supply and Bank staff
We have a number of bank staff that provides a valuable contribution to our team who cover holidays.
