I began working in Early Years as a practitioner in a Toddler room and progressed from there, holding nearly every position imaginable in between. I have managed rooms, nurseries and regions of all shapes and sizes and have loved every minute of it. Now as Senior Childcare Director I get to work very closely with the Area Managers and Quality Managers across the company primarily focusing on newly acquired groups of nurseries. I get to meet so many passionate, dedicated people and get to see the impact they have on the children within our care. Kids Planet is an incredible organisation to work for; they truly care about providing the absolute best for the children and families in our care and the team work tirelessly to provide an amazing experience. The level of training and support can’t be rivalled by any childcare company I have every worked with or alongside.  Due to our growth, we offer a huge amount of progression across so many different departments, it really is a fantastic place to work.

I started at our Cheadle nursery when I was just 21 years old, and I haven’t looked back! Kids Planet have supported me to get me where I am today. Having started as nursery nurse, to senior, unit manager, third in charge, I moved into admin and took on the role of receptionist at Kids Allowed Cheadle and Knutsford. I moved to head office a short time after where I started as Customer Support administrator. I am now Customer Support Team leader and can honestly say I love my job! I have the most amazing team and we are like family. If you want to feel part of a team, Kids Planet will help you achieve this. I don’t have Monday blues!

I started as a supply member of staff in 2012 at our Prestwich nursery and quickly advanced to become a full-time staff member. I worked my way up to Room Leader and in 2016 became Deputy Manager at Salford Quays and then Prestwich.  During this time Kids Planet supported me through my level 5 in Leadership and Management from which I progressed to Nursery Manager. Having recently received my first Ofsted outstanding and having won Nursery of the Year at our internal awards evening, and I have been promoted to Area Manager!
