Kids Planet Torwood House is situated near the beautiful Clifton Downs in Bristol, offering exceptional early years education and care for children aged 0 to 5 years, alongside high-quality after school and holiday club provision. Our bright, welcoming rooms are thoughtfully designed to spark creativity, build independence, and foster a lifelong love of learning from the very start.

Children thrive in our wraparound gardens, which provide extensive opportunities for physical play, exploration, and outdoor learning. Whether climbing, digging, running, or engaging in imaginative play, our outdoor spaces are central to our commitment to supporting children’s all-round development.

Our passionate, experienced team ensures learning is structured yet joyful, with a strong focus on preparing children not just for school, but for life. We build strong partnerships with parents through open communication and active involvement in each child’s journey, creating a community where children are seen, heard, and celebrated.

My journey with Torwood House began over 25 years ago when I enrolled my daughter at the nursery. Inspired by the nurturing environment, I later changed careers and became a Registered Childminder while raising my children.

I have been running the nursery for the past two years, following over three years of working closely with the previous manager. I’m passionate about spending time in the rooms to understand each child’s individual needs and to support my team.

Now part of the Kids Planet Family, I look forward to developing the setting and staff to their full potential.
