About Apley
Kids Planet Apley brings learning in nature into our nursery day through our Udeskole-accredited approach. Within Princess Royal Hospital’s grounds, children have an enclosed outdoor area and visit nearby Apley Woods. Supervised firepit experiences offer practical discovery, while the sensory room provides other ways to explore indoors.
We welcome parents and grandparents through stay-and-play sessions, giving families time to enjoy nursery together. A lending library supports shared stories at home, while our food bank, clothing swap and free oral hygiene supplies offer practical support. Term-time places and on-site parking help families fit nursery around their routines.

Holly Payne
ManagerMy name is Holly, and I am the Nursery Manager at Kids Planet Apley.
I hold a BA (Hons) degree in Early Childhood Studies and have gained seven years of experience working across a range of roles within early years education, progressing from Early Years Practitioner to Room Leader, Deputy Manager, and now Nursery Manager.
I am passionate about creating an enriching environment where children feel supported, encouraged, and inspired to develop and thrive. With extensive experience in preschool settings, I am dedicated to helping children prepare for their transition to school and ensuring they leave nursery as confident, capable little individuals.
Wellbeing is at the heart of everything I do, and I am committed to supporting everyone within our nursery community, children, parents, and staff alike. My aim is to make Kids Planet Apley a warm, nurturing, and homely environment where every child feels safe, valued, and loved.
My commitment to you and your family is to always maintain an open door policy, ensuring I am available to support with any questions, concerns, or even just for a chat. I am dedicated to supporting and empowering our staff in their roles so they can provide the very best care and create a calm, loving environment for every child. Above all, I will always ensure that all children in our care are happy, healthy, and safe.
