Overview
About Hagley Road
Kids Planet Hagley Road, formerly Edgbaston, gives children space to explore in a Victorian property on Gillott Road in Birmingham. A spacious outdoor area encourages active and creative play, while the sensory room provides a calmer place to play indoors.
We get to know what interests your child and use it to plan their learning. As school approaches, everyday experiences help them communicate their ideas and practise doing more for themselves. Our team gives children time to develop those skills, with help when needed. Good transport links make us convenient for families in the local area.

Alisha Rellon
ManagerI am a Mum of two young children, who have both attended Kids Planet Hagley Road which I think is the biggest compliment I can show my team, that I trust them with my own children. We are a homely setting, set in a beautiful surrounding, with one of the best gardens you'll find in Birmingham. We follow a child centred approach as they are our main purpose and priority in what we do! We would love for you to come and look around our setting so you can see it for yourself!
A Calming Sensory Space
A Tranquil Environment to Stimulate the Senses
Our sensory room offers a peaceful, inviting space where children can engage in calming activities that stimulate their senses. With soft textures, colourful materials, and quiet corners for relaxation, this space is designed to support sensory development and promote a sense of well-being. Here, your little ones can explore tactile experiences, colours, and sounds in a safe, nurturing environment that encourages self-regulation and mindfulness. It’s a perfect spot for moments of calm and creative play.
