Day Nursery in Sunderland (Ettrick Grove)
49 Ettrick Grove, Sunderland SR3 4AW
Overview
About Ettrick Grove
At Kids Planet Ettrick Grove, every room opens into the garden, bringing outdoor play into children’s day. Our team plans learning around what interests each child, helping them investigate indoors and outside. Children have time to develop their ideas and practise new skills, with support when they need it.
Freshly prepared food is part of daily nursery life, and the Famly App lets you share in what your child has been doing. As children grow towards school, play and familiar routines help them become more independent. We encourage them to try for themselves while making sure there’s an adult ready to help.

Adventures Beyond the Classroom
Bringing Learning to Life with Outdoor Play
At Kids Planet, we believe the great outdoors is one of the best learning environments. Our unique nature-based learning encourages children to explore, take on new challenges, and develop essential life skills through hands-on outdoor experiences. Whether it’s discovering wildlife, growing vegetables, or engaging in active play, we provide endless opportunities for children to learn, grow, and thrive in the natural world.
