Overview
About Heddon-on-the-Wall
In a rural village, Kids Planet Heddon-on-the-Wall helps children discover their community through outings to places such as the local vets and Hadrian’s Wall. Our nursery has open-plan spaces where children can follow their interests, supported by adults who help them develop their ideas through play.
Weekly yoga during term time and sports coaching give children different ways to enjoy movement. Sensory play offers quieter opportunities for discovery, with our team adapting support for children with additional needs. We use these experiences to help your child participate in ways that suit them, with time to investigate at their own pace.

Adventures Beyond the Classroom
Bringing Learning to Life with Outdoor Play
At Kids Planet, we believe the great outdoors is one of the best learning environments. Our unique nature-based learning encourages children to explore, take on new challenges, and develop essential life skills through hands-on outdoor experiences. Whether it’s discovering wildlife, growing vegetables, or engaging in active play, we provide endless opportunities for children to learn, grow, and thrive in the natural world.
