Kids Planet Padiham is part of town-centre life, welcoming babies through to preschoolers within easy reach of Burnley and the surrounding area. Children explore outdoors in all weathers and join local activities such as litter picking, learning about caring for their community through something they can do themselves.
Sensory play gives children ways to explore indoors, with our team adjusting support for those with additional needs. We nuture your child in ways that reflect their development and interests.

Lindsay Wilkins
ManagerLindsay Wilkins is the nursery manager of Padiham. Lindsay has been a part of nursery since 2004, where she started as a nursery practitioner and progressed within the setting and becoming the nursery manager in January 2015. She is passionate about providing innovative experiences for the children in her care, together with an enthusiastic team of skilled practitioners.
Caring for Our Community
Learning to look after the world around us
We’re passionate about teaching children the importance of caring for their environment. To mark Environment Day, our little ones set off on a litter-picking walk around the local community, learning first-hand how small actions can make a big difference. Back at nursery, they explored recycling and reusing materials to create their own eco-inspired artwork, sparking thoughtful conversations about sustainability. It’s all part of helping children understand their role in looking after our planet.
