About Poulton Carr Head
Children at Kids Planet Poulton Carr Head can explore a forest garden and teepee, with Udeskole-based outdoor learning that includes firepit cooking. Each of our four age-group rooms has its own outdoor area, and babies have a dedicated sensory room. There are spaces to discover at every stage of development.
A qualified teacher supports the curriculum, with outings to Blackpool Zoo and art galleries adding experiences for children to build on. Our team helps them connect those discoveries with their learning through play. Ofsted rated our nursery Outstanding in January 2025, recognising the quality of the provision children experience here.

Georgina Simpson
ManagerI am the Nursery Manager at Kids Planet Poulton Carr Head, which was rated Ofsted Outstanding in January 2025. I hold a Foundation Degree in Early Years and have been a Nursery Manager since 2014. I am an experienced and knowledgeable leader, having previously dual managed settings, and I am passionate about supporting the development of young children and working alongside parents to offer guidance and support.
I have strong links with the local authority and hold high standards in everything I do, ensuring our nursery provides the very best care, education, and outcomes for every child. Wellbeing is at the heart of my leadership, and I’ve created a dedicated staff wellbeing space within the nursery where team members can relax and reflect. I regularly use this space for one-to-one check-ins, making sure everyone feels supported and valued.
I’m committed to succession planning, helping my team grow in confidence and achieve promotions within Kids Planet. Outside of nursery life, I enjoy spending time with my family and my son, making memories together.
