Kids Planet St Andrew’s Park is located in the vibrant heart of Bristol, operating from two beautifully converted Edwardian houses close to the park itself.

We care for children aged 0 to 5 years in a warm, nurturing environment where every child is supported to grow in confidence, independence, and curiosity, ready for school and for life.Deeply rooted in the local community, we make full use of our beautiful surroundings with regular outings to St Andrew’s Park, local shops, libraries, and cultural events.

These experiences are woven into our curriculum to inspire learning, broaden horizons, and foster a sense of connection to the world around us.Our teacher-led preschool places a strong focus on school readiness, blending academic and emotional development in an inclusive and welcoming space.

I joined the nursery in 2013 and became the manager in 2018. I am truly dedicated to fostering the growth of both staff and children. I obtained my Level 3 qualification in Early Years in 2006, followed by a Level 5 Diploma in Management and Leadership 2015.
I’m passionate about enhancing our nursery environment to facilitate meaningful interactions between staff and children.

We provide freshly prepared, nutritious meals and snacks, catering to all dietary needs to keep little ones fuelled for a day of learning and play. With sports activities to support physical development and the Famly app for real-time updates, we ensure every child gets the best start in a safe, nurturing environment.

Muddy Play and Imagination

Our mud area gives children the freedom to get creative, experiment, and play using natural resources. From digging and mixing to using herbs we grow ourselves, little ones are encouraged to use their imagination in open-ended, sensory-rich play that supports problem-solving, independence, and joyful discovery.

Beyond the Classroom

At Kids Planet, we believe the great outdoors is one of the best learning environments. Our unique nature-based learning encourages children to explore, take on new challenges, and develop essential life skills through hands-on outdoor experiences.
