About Warrington

Children at Kids Planet Warrington get to explore the world around them through trips to the library and museum, as well as visits to nearby parks. Our nursery is based in a converted 19th-century chapel in the town centre and welcomes babies through to preschoolers.

We are Udeskole accredited, which recognises Kids Planet’s approach to learning outdoors. Exploring local plants and wildlife gives children real things to wonder about and investigate. Our team supports those questions through hands-on experiences, helping children make discoveries for themselves and bring what they’ve noticed into their play back at nursery.

    Rebecca Gee

    Manager

    I started my journey here at Kids Planet Warrington in December 2019 when I became the Pre-School teacher, before becoming Nursery Manager in June 2024. In that time, I have been lucky enough to complete my Level 3 Forest School Leader training and have helped the setting to achieve their Udeskole accreditation. I am a big advocate for outdoor learning and believe the benefits are fantastic for the children and their holistic wellbeing.

    I hold a BA (Hons) Degree in English Language with QTS and previously worked in a primary school for ten years.

Building Bonds with Our Local Community

At Kids Planet Warrington Town Centre, we’re proud to be an active part of the local community. We regularly support Warrington Youth Zone through fundraising and have delivered our unique nature-based learning (forest school approach) sessions during their Half Term holiday club. Our children also enjoy monthly trips to Warrington Library for lively Song and Storytime sessions, helping to spark a lifelong love of stories and songs. These experiences help to nurture every child’s Cultural Capital, broadening their horizons beyond the nursery walls.
