About Waterfront
Kids Planet Waterfront has indoor and outdoor spaces designed around your child’s play and development. Sensory experiences offer time for hands-on investigation, with our team following the things children are interested in. Our team adapts support for children with additional needs so they can explore in ways that suit them.
Settling-in visits help you and your child get to know our nursery and the people who will care for them before regular attendance begins. Term-time places are available, and on-site parking makes daily journeys easier for families travelling by car.

Hannah Mateer
ManagerI have over 20 years’ experience within the Early Years sector having started as a college student and worked my way up to management. I have completed my Early Years Foundation Degree and Level 5 in Leadership and Management, and am the Designated Safeguarding Lead for the nursery.
As a parent of three children myself, I can fully understand the emotions all parents go through leaving their little ones in other people’s care. As a Manager I am here to fully support parents and staff in settling your little ones into nursery and ensuring a smooth transition. I am passionate about the importance of early education and the biggest privilege is being able to watch children thrive in their learning and development.
