Day Nursery in Widnes
Kids Planet Day Nurseries - Widnes, Victoria Road, Widnes WA8 7QY
Overview
About Widnes
At Kids Planet Widnes, children can explore the library within Kingsway Family Hub and enjoy stories as part of everyday nursery life. Our converted Victorian building has been part of the community since 2008 and is a short walk from the town centre and close to Runcorn.
A specially equipped sensory room brings new ways to play and discover, while outdoor play continues through the seasons. Local visits help your child become familiar with their community, with our team building on the things they notice and ask about. Together, these experiences give children different ways to learn and explore, supported by a qualified and caring team that helps them grow.

ManagerHi, I'm Conor, Nursery Manager at Kids Planet Widnes.
I have over nine years of experience in childcare, including five years in leadership roles and as a Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO). I am passionate about providing every child with the very best start in life and supporting them to thrive throughout their early years journey.
I am currently studying Early Years at university, which allows me to bring the latest knowledge and best practices into the nursery. I am committed to creating a nurturing, inclusive environment where children feel happy, confident, and inspired to learn, while supporting our team to deliver the highest quality care and education.
Adventures Beyond the Classroom
Bringing Learning to Life with Outdoor Play
At Kids Planet, we believe the great outdoors is one of the best learning environments. Our unique nature-based learning encourages children to explore, take on new challenges, and develop essential life skills through hands-on outdoor experiences. Whether it’s discovering wildlife, growing vegetables, or engaging in active play, we provide endless opportunities for children to learn, grow, and thrive in the natural world.
