As part of Men’s Health Month in November, Kids Planet was thrilled to have a special guest from men’s suicide prevention charity Andy’s Man Club join us on Wednesday 30th November.
Our dedicated Wellbeing Manager Lucie Sweeney arranged for Dan Rowe and Conor Bemrose from Andy’s Man Club to join us and give a talk about the free support groups across the UK and online, that encourage men to meet up every Monday.
Members of the Kids Planet team at the Head Office in Lymm enjoyed the ‘lunch and learn’ session to find out more about Andy’s Man Club, looking after men’s mental health and wellbeing, and the importance of talking.
The charity is passionate about ending the stigma surrounding men’s mental health and helping men through the power of conversation, and we are thrilled to get behind this initiative.
