Astley Bridge has a Kids Planet makeover

Kids Planet Astley Bridge, formerly part of the Poppy & Jacks group, was acquired by Kids Planet in 2021 and has now received a refurb as part of the onboarding process.

The Bolton nursery has had a full refurb, with all the rooms painted, new flooring put in, new and well-thought-out resources for indoors and outdoors, new front door and fences, a new gate system for better security, and a more ‘welcoming’ feeling hallway.

Tanya Weaver, Deputy Manager and SENDCo at Astley Bridge Kids Planet Nursery, said:

“We have had lots of support off lots of different people and we have also had lots of nice comments about the new look off parents. The children love the new resources and enjoy their sessions more with more resources available to them.

The refurb has also had a positive impact on staff, we recently bought all new furniture and made the staff room homely, we have recently had lots of show arounds and new children signing up, and this is due to the homely feel of the nursery”.
