Bronze Award At Giving Voice Accreditation Evening For Kids Planet Hale

Congratulations to our Hale nursery who have recently won a Bronze award at Trafford’s, Giving Voice Accreditation Awards evening organised by Trafford’s Children’s Workforce Team, in partnership with Trafford Speech and Language Therapy Service.

Having attended courses and completed evidence-based tasks, the award demonstrates the nursery’s commitment to training in SLCN (Speech, Language and Communication needs). The nursery now has a designated Communication Champion in addition to a SENCO.

Receiving the award from Andy Burnham, Labour Mayor of Greater Manchester, Nursery Manager Sarah Whitehouse said: “We’re delighted to have been part of Trafford’s new speech and language training given its priority for the under 5’s. It was great to receive the award from the Mayor of Greater Manchester, and we’re now looking forward to working towards the silver award as we continually look to improve provision in this important area”.
