Eggcellent news – it’s finally Spring!

This year, the spring equinox falls on Wednesday 20 March marking the start of warmer weather, the blooming of flowers, budding of leaves and longer daylight hours, hooray!

But have you spotted any of these signs of spring this week?

• Bees buzzing in the bushes
• Blossom on the trees
• A field full of bluebells
• The dawn chorus– they start early, can you hear them?
• Tell-tale green shoots popping up
• Newborn lambs playing in the fields
• Leaf buds ready to burst

But it’s not just the daffodils, bees and bulbs starting to shine. Across our nurseries, we’ve been super excited to have some fluffy new editions joining us. As part of the Eggsploring experience, the children have had the opportunity to watch first hand the life cycle of a chicken?
