Fund raising for Liverpool Women’s Hospital

LOCAL NURSERIES RAISE FUNDS FOR LIVERPOOL WOMEN’S HOSPITAL

Kids Planet’s Wavertree nursery and Greenbank Park nursery have raised a fantastic £856 for the hospital’s Neonatal Unit as part of their Christmas festivities held last December.

Julie Savage, Nursery Manager at the Wavertree nursery on Heathfield Road, said,   “We’d like to thank everybody who attended our Christmas Fayres both here and at Greenbank Park for all their kind donations and contributions. We’re so proud of our nursery families who give so generously”.

Both nurseries held Christmas parties with visits from Santa, tombolas and raffles during the festive period to raise this fantastic amount.

A special thanks to Eleanor (pictured below) who carried the heavy donation box into the hospital and greeted the staff with a huge smile that made their day!
