Ofsted Outstanding for Kids Allowed Altrincham

We are thrilled to reveal that Kids Allowed Altrincham has achieved ‘Outstanding in all areas’ by Ofsted.

Kids Allowed Altrincham is a well-established nursery which was acquired by the Kids Planet group in 2020.

The recent inspection highlighted how staff are “highly skilled and knowledgeable and demonstrate a deep understanding of how children learn”, and “the inspirational manager has a superb overview of the curriculum and knows what she wants children to learn.”

According to the inspection, babies and children are extremely happy and demonstrate high levels of emotional security, confidence and self-esteem.

The report says: “Staff give high priority to children’s physical and emotional well-being. They create a happy family atmosphere and a culture of mutual respect and tolerance. They make effective use of a wide range of activities and resources to promote equality and diversity and children respect the similarities and differences between themselves and others. Children have a clear understanding of right and wrong and how their behaviour affects the feelings of their friends. Their behaviour is exemplary.”

The provision, labelled ‘Outstanding’, was also praised for its exceptional preparation for childrens’ next stage in their learning (including school), the superb partnerships maintained with parents, and safeguarding and children’s welfare being given the utmost priority.

Nicola Cornford, Nursery Manager, said: “I’m so proud of the whole team for all of their hard work in this huge achievement of being officially ‘outstanding’ in every area in our Ofsted report. It’s fantastic to see that the care and dedication for the children and families has shone through, and we look forward to continuing to help them grow and develop.”

The nursery opens from Monday to Friday from 7.30am to 6.30pm all year round and will be holding an open day on Saturday 13^th November for parents in the area to have a look around.
