Kids Planet Acquires Nursery In Litherland

Kids Planet Day Nurseries have successfully acquired Wendy House Day Nursery in Litherland, Merseyside.   The latest acquisition takes the group to 39 settings in the North West and the Midlands, providing care to more than 5000 children.

The Wendy House (Wirral) Ltd has been operating for 20 years on the Wirral and has an exceptional reputation in the local community in Litherland. Previously owned and managed by qualified Nursery practitioner Christine Seasman who has over 28 years’ experience, The Wendy House Day Nurseries offers first-class early year’s education for children from birth to five years old.

Speaking about the latest acquisition, Clare Roberts, CEO at Kids Planet said: “With several nurseries already operating on Merseyside, we’re extremely excited to bring Litherland into the group. We’re very much looking forward to working with the team to provide them with the support they need to continue delivering the best possible care for children and parents in this area”.

Kids Planet was established by working mum Clare Roberts and her father John Hoban in 2008 and has grown over the last decade to become a leading early years provider. Within the previous 12 months, the group have had 7 Ofsted inspections with all seven settings gaining the highest possible rating of Outstanding.

Nursery space bookings at Litherland are now being taken.
