Kids Planet Barkston Ash gets makeover

Kids Planet Barkston Ash received a makeover on 5th March as the former Rainbow Day Nursery transitions to the Kids Planet branding. Ahead of the next Open Day on 19^th March, a team made up of staff from surrounding Kids Planet nurseries came together, giving up their Saturday’s to lend a hand.

Kirsty Jackson, Quality Director at Kids Planet, said: “It was a great day, with both the Barkston Ash team and teams from the surrounding Kids Planet nurseries coming together to create stimulating, ‘home-from-home’ environments that promote children’s innate curiosity and support their individual needs and interests.

It is wonderful to see Lisa and the team fully embracing the Kids Planet approach and the development of the vast outdoor play spaces will definitely be one to watch!”

Previously Rainbow Day Nursery, the Tadcaster nursery was acquired by the Kids Plant in November 2021, and was the first nursery in the group in the Yorkshire area.

Kids Planet Barkston Ash is a popular daycare setting for babies, toddlers, pre-school and out of school care. Open Monday to Friday 7.30am – 6.00pm, the nursery is uniquely set within circa six acres of land, with the children’s areas placed across three extensive buildings and impressive landscaped outdoor areas.
