Kids Planet Litherland is delighted to have exceeded its target and raised £1,009 for the Cash for Kids corporate appeal.
Supporting disabled and disadvantaged children in Liverpool, the North West and North Wales, the money raised will help improve the lives of young people in our communities who are affected by poverty, illness, neglect, or have additional needs.
The nursery has got involved with an abundance of fundraising activities over the 10-week challenge, including a raffle, tombola, staff bake sale, bake-off, and a teddy bears picnic.
Alex Cullen, Nursery Manager at Kids Planet Litherland, said: “We are delighted to be supporting Cash for kids as they are a charity who are close to our hearts and they have supported us over the years.
Cash for Kids has kindly donated our most disadvantaged families with Christmas presents and supported our school leavers with brand new school shoes. They work closely with our families in supporting in anything they may need.
The welfare of our children and families is of the utmost importance to us and charities such as Cash for Kids have ensured that our families in need have been supported in many different ways. As a company, we have had lots of fun fundraising for this charity and we will continue to support them in the future.”
