Kids Planet Lymm win the Big Bug Hunt

As part of National Allotments Week in August, the National Allotment Society invited children aged between 2-12 to take part in the Big Bug Hunt 2022 and head out into green space to see what creepy crawlies they could find.

A number of our Kids Planet nurseries took part, enjoying locating bugs in the summer sunshine in their local communities. Kids Planet Lymm was thrilled to win the competition, receiving some fantastic nature boxes for the children at the nursery to enjoy and continue on their learning journey.

Being outside has such a positive impact on the health and wellbeing of the children and the summer holidays proved a perfect time for them to have fun outdoors and learn more about their surroundings.
