Kids Planet Stretton Awarded Millie’s Mark

Kids Planet Stretton is pleased to announce they have been awarded Millie’s Mark.

With childcare safeguarding at an all-time high, Millie’s Mark reassures parents that their children are in safe hands.  The accreditation is only awarded to those who go above and beyond the minimum first aid requirements set out by the government’s Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) for children aged 0-5.  All staff at Kids Planet Stretton are now trained in paediatric first aid and can demonstrate not only first aid theory but also the ability to apply it in a real-life situation.

Speaking about the award, Nursery Manager Sarah Foster said: “We’re extremely proud to receive the award which demonstrates the importance of children’s safety in our daily practice. This is a special achievement and reflects the dedication of the whole team”.
