The last couple of months we have really focused on different areas within the nursery.. In early years a big focus is ‘deconstructive play’. You may see the children playing with cardboard boxes and yoghurt pots. This is to enhance their imagination. A box within the roleplay area could be a fridge to serve dinner from or a space rocket to take us to the moon.
