Outstanding Leicestershire Nursery Acquired By Kids Planet

Kids Planet have successfully acquired Burbage Day Nursery.

The Ofsted outstanding nursery is a well-established business with an exceptional reputation and high occupancy levels.  Situated in a converted bungalow in the Burbage area of Hinckley, Leicestershire, it has two outdoor spaces and a capacity for 73 children with room for further growth.

The business was founded in 2008 by owners Dennis and Stephanie Sanders, who have significantly invested in the setting during their 12 years of operation.

The move into Leicestershire takes the Kids Planet group, currently the number one childcare group for quality in the UK, to 76 settings providing care to more than 10,000 children.

Speaking about the Leicestershire acquisition, Clare Roberts, CEO at Kids Planet, explained: “We’re delighted to acquire Burbage Day Nursery. The nursery has an excellent reputation in the local area, and we’re very much looking forward to working with the staff to continue the outstanding childcare provided to families in and around the Hinckley area”.

Kids Planet was established by working mum Clare Roberts and her father John Hoban in 2008. They have experienced rapid expansion to become the third-largest nursery group in the UK.
