Our Salford Nursery Achieve Ofsted Outstanding

We are pleased to announce that our Kids Planet Salford nursery has achieved ‘Outstanding in All Areas’ Ofsted inspection in May 2016.

Clare Roberts, CEO of Kids Planet Group said “I am extremely pleased that our Salford nursery has achieved outstanding by Ofsted. Sarah and her team have worked extremely hard, with their commitment and passion, they ensure all the children receive the very best childcare possible.

To date, our nurseries have achieved 12 outstanding rating by Ofsted at Salford, Higher Broughton, Beamont (Warrington), Bridge Farm Crewe, Widnes, Lymm, Prestwich, Sale, Hale, Warrington, Springhead and Dukinfield. Our remaining 5 nurseries are still awaiting inspection”.

“Staff provide children with a highly stimulating, nurturing environment, both indoors and outdoors. They are passionate about their roles as early year’s practitioners. Staff provide rich and imaginative learning experiences that capture children’s interest and motivate them to learn. Children are self-confident and develop extremely positive attitudes towards learning in readiness for school”.

“All children’s individual learning needs are exceptionally well met. Staff accurately observe and assess children’s learning, in order to plan sharply focussed activities for their next steps. The quality of teaching is outstanding. Children make rapid progress from their starting points in all areas of learning”.

“The manager closely checks the excellent progress made by different groups of children attending the nursery. Informative data is obtained which enables her to identify gaps in children’s learning and implement effective strategies to ensure all children reach their full potential”.

The nursery is a purpose-built nursery on the corner of Eccles Old Road and Langworthy Road and in close proximity to Media City. The nursery has large open plan rooms with four separate outdoor areas which caters for outdoor play in all weather in line with the EYFS. The nursery also benefits from a sensory room in which all age groups are encouraged to use and explore different textures and lights.

Our Salford nursery opened in August 2014 and is open between 07:00-19:00 Monday-Friday and only closed on bank holidays. Within Kids Planet our fully qualified and carefully selected staff are friendly, approachable, caring and actively work to preserve the magic of childhood.
