Kids Planet Congleton is an Ofsted Outstanding nursery based on Chapel Street.
BABIES TO PRESCHOOL
Each child is treated as an individual and receives care tailored to their needs. On joining our nursery, each child is assigned a Key Person who takes responsibility for their care, ensuring that their transition into nursery is as smooth as possible.
Early years foundation stage
Our nursery follows the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), which is the government framework for children aged 0-5. All our children enjoy a self-generated learning programme with individual developmental goals in mind.
The rooms in our nursery are colourful, well-resourced and divided by age group:
“Children have a thirst for learning which is actively promoted outdoors where staff provide a range of innovative activities and resources. Children relish their time in this delightful space. They enthusiastically explore, make their own discoveries, solve problems and learn skills for life.” – Ofsted 2015
Our outdoor play areas are secure, well-resourced, and designed for all-weather play so children have access to as much fresh air as possible. We have a separate baby sensory garden on site, watched over by our Congleton Bear, Biscuit, and we also sponsor a sensory garden on Moody Street which is open to our local community.
We have a 5 star food hygiene rating and all meals and snacks are freshly prepared on the premises by our qualified Nursery Chef.
Our 6 weekly menu caters for individual dietary needs whilst meeting the appropriate nutritional requirements for each child.
SAFE AND SECURE
Safeguarding the children in our nursery is an utmost priority and we offer state of the art security systems.
Access to the nursery is through a secure door. Each room has CCTV and intercom systems as standard, ensuring your child’s safety is paramount at all times.
We achieved Outstanding by Ofsted in 2015. Here are some quotes from the report:
“Children flourish at this very welcoming and supportive nursery where they develop strong bonds with the staff.”
“Staff have excellent knowledge and understanding about how children play, learn and develop. They guide children’s learning exceptionally well with outstanding teaching strategies, precise assessments and planning for individual children. This results in children making outstanding progress in their learning and development, in readiness for school.”
