About Congleton
There’s a strong connection with local life at Kids Planet Congleton. Based in a 19th-century building in the town centre, we welcome babies through to preschoolers and take children out so they can enjoy time in the community. The River Dane and Astbury Mere offer places to discover nature close to home.
Our team brings those experiences into your child’s learning, with regular Udeskole outdoor learning sessions encouraging exploration outdoors. Weekly PE sessions gives children time to enjoy movement and practise physical skills. Visits to a local care home also bring generations together, creating opportunities for children to spend time with people beyond their everyday nursery group.

ManagerI have dedicated over 20 years to a fulfilling career in childcare, progressing from a practitioner to a managerial role. My qualifications include a Level 3 in Childhood Studies, HR Support, and Teaching and Learning.
I live on the outskirts of Congleton with my husband, our two teenage daughters, and our two dogs. My journey in childcare reflects my commitment to supporting children, families, and teams, ensuring a nurturing and positive environment for all.

We’re delighted to be part of the annual Community Garden Festival as part of Congleton in Bloom. Every year, our children help plant and decorate a colourful wheelbarrow garden for display and judging, with proceeds going to a charity chosen by the mayor. This inspiring activity brings the nursery and wider community together, giving children a sense of pride, purpose, and connection with their town.
