Day Nursery in Smallwood, Sandbach

Kids Planet Pear Tree Farm is a welcoming day nursery set alongside a working farm in the beautiful Cheshire countryside. Located in Smallwood, just two miles from Junction 17 of the M6, the nursery is ideally placed for families in Sandbach, Congleton, Alsager, Holmes Chapel and the surrounding areas.

Opened in 2004, the nursery provides a warm and stimulating environment for babies, toddlers and pre-school children. Its rural setting is a real part of nursery life, with views across the surrounding farmland and plenty of opportunities for children to enjoy fresh air, explore nature and learn outdoors.

Children have access to generous secure outdoor spaces, including a sensory garden, grassed areas and extensive fields and footpaths surrounding the nursery. Indoors, age-appropriate rooms and activities are designed to support every stage of development, combining child-led play with carefully planned learning in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage.

Each child is supported by a key person who gets to know them as an individual, follows their progress and helps shape learning opportunities around their needs and interests. From stories, songs and creative play to baking, construction, role play and early numeracy and language activities, children are encouraged to explore, communicate and grow in confidence.

The nursery also places a strong emphasis on preparing children for their next steps. Pre-school children are supported as they build independence and prepare for school, with strong links to local schools helping to make the transition to reception as positive and familiar as possible.

With experienced practitioners, nurturing spaces and a unique countryside setting, Kids Planet Pear Tree Farm gives children plenty of room to play, discover and thrive.
