About Us

Kids Planet Congleton

Kids Planet Congleton is a well-established nursery located in the heart of the town centre, housed in a charming 19th Century building. We offer care and early education for babies through to pre-schoolers, with every room thoughtfully equipped with age-appropriate resources to spark curiosity and support learning through play.

Our central location gives us incredible access to the local community, allowing children to enjoy enriching trips to the nearby fire station, police station, care home, library, and play areas. We’re also close to natural beauty spots including the River Dane and Astbury Mere, helping us blend community connection with nature-based learning.

With strong ties to St Peter’s Church, regular Udeskole sessions, and weekly PE activities delivered by Lee from ASM Sports, we’re proud to provide children with a wide range of inspiring experiences that promote resilience, confidence, and independence.

Outdoor Discovery with Udeskole

Nature-Based Learning in the Heart of Town

Thanks to our close links with St Peter’s Church, children at Kids Planet Congleton benefit from regular Udeskole sessions held in the church’s spacious outdoor grounds. These sessions provide children with meaningful opportunities to explore the natural environment, develop problem-solving skills, and learn through hands-on experiences. From den building to observing wildlife, our Udeskole approach supports children’s confidence, independence, and connection with nature.

Proud Participants in Congleton in Bloom

Growing Together in the Community

We’re delighted to be part of the annual Community Garden Festival as part of Congleton in Bloom. Every year, our children help plant and decorate a colourful wheelbarrow garden for display and judging, with proceeds going to a charity chosen by the mayor. This inspiring activity brings the nursery and wider community together, giving children a sense of pride, purpose, and connection with their town.
