Overview

About Sandbach Montessori

At Kids Planet Sandbach Montessori, children have hands-on experiences and opportunities to choose their learning, following Maria Montessori’s approach. We’re Kids Planet’s only accredited Montessori nursery, with qualified Montessorians supporting children as they explore and practise doing things for themselves.

Community connections and care for the environment give children practical experiences beyond their rooms. Our team uses these opportunities to support individual development, helping children build on what they can already do. Our nursery has also been recognised as a regional Top 20 setting based on parent reviews, reflecting families’ experiences of the care we provide.

    Manager

I have worked in childcare for 12 years, beginning my career as an apprentice, completing my level 3 and now finishing my level 5 in leadership and management. I have worked for Kids planet since October 2024 when I was a deputy manager, progressing to manager in June 2025.

Building Bonds with Our Local Community

Helping children connect with the world around them

We are passionate about being an active part of our local community. Our children enjoy visits to Sandbach’s shops, parks, and library, as well as spreading joy through thoughtful acts like handing out flowers to local residents. We’ve baked dog biscuits for the local vets, raised funds for the Railway Children charity, and built close ties with Oakdene Court residential home. From Easter egg hunts to crafts and even hosting our graduation ceremony there, these experiences give children a sense of belonging and help them develop their Cultural Capital.
