Starting the day
The start of the nursery day looks different for every child. Our teams take time to welcome them, talk with families and then help them settle in at their own pace, creating a calm and reassuring start to the day.

Morning
Mornings are filled with learning that feels like play, with opportunities to create, investigate, imagine and explore. Children might paint, build, share stories, experiment with water or follow an idea that has captured their curiosity.

Throughout the day
Children have plenty of time and space to follow their curiosity, indoors and outside. Child-led discovery sits alongside thoughtfully planned experiences, splashing in water play, expressing themselves with paint, all helping children build confidence, independence and new skills as they play.

Mealtimes & rest
Freshly prepared meals and snacks help children refuel, while quieter moments give them time to recharge. Younger children can sleep and rest around their individual routines, while older children can pause before their next adventure.

Afternoon
The afternoon brings more opportunities to play, explore and build on discoveries from earlier in the day. Practitioners respond to children’s interests, energy and needs, allowing experiences to develop naturally,.

Home time
We’ll share the important moments from your child’s day, from something they enjoyed to something new they tried or achieved. You can also follow their experiences through updates, photographs and observations on the Famly app.

Our practitioners get to know each child, celebrate their achievements and support them through new experiences, building the confidence to explore, make friends and become more independent.
Every story shared, friendship formed, muddy puddle jumped in, question asked and challenge overcome helps children grow in confidence and curiosity.
No two days are exactly the same, because no two children are the same. But every day is shaped with care to help children feel secure, connected and excited about what comes next.
