Depending on your entitlement and attendance pattern, your booking may combine funded hours with additional privately paid childcare. How funded hours are offered can vary by nursery.
Our teams can explain how funding works at your chosen nursery and help you understand the options available.
What about additional costs?
If you’re using funded childcare, you may also choose optional Essentials & Extras, which can include meals, everyday consumables and additional activities.
These charges are separate from your funded entitlement, and choosing not to take up optional services doesn’t affect your eligibility for funded childcare.
