At Kids Planet Nursery in Wallsend, we provide a childcare service of the highest quality. Each child has a dedicated key worker who takes special responsibility for your child, supporting their learning and development day to day. Children are cared for in five separate rooms, progressing through the nursery according to their age and readiness to move on.

Our experienced and long-standing staff team create a nurturing and consistent environment where children feel secure and valued. The nursery is equipped with well-thought-out natural resources, including an open-plan space, sensory room, and dance studio to encourage movement and creativity. We also have a large sports room and a soft play room, both designed to promote physical development in a fun and engaging way.

Children enjoy a varied routine with regular extra-curricular activities such as cooking club, gardening club, and yoga sessions, as well as weekly sports sessions led by our dedicated sports coach, who tailors activities to the children’s interests. Alongside this, our wonderful garden area and the nearby community park provide the ideal setting for little ones to play, learn, and explore the world around them.

I have worked in childcare for over 10 years, working in various different roles. I am passionate for all things early years in particular supporting children’s emotional wellbeing and supporting families and the wider community. I am passionate about children’s literacy and incorporating this into all aspects of my role. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and exploring new places. I also enjoy curling up with a good book!

With sports activities to support physical development and the Famly app for real-time updates, we ensure every child gets the best start in a safe, nurturing environment.
