Kids Planet Birstall (Formerly Hunny Hive, Birstall nursery) is a welcoming nursery located in the heart of the local community on Hallam Fields Road, with easy access from the A6 Loughborough Road.

Our nursery is thoughtfully designed with age appropriate rooms for babies, toddlers, and preschool children, creating a supportive environment where little ones can learn and grow at every stage. Indoors, children benefit from comfortable, well equipped spaces with features such as air conditioning and secure access systems for added peace of mind.

Outdoors, our all weather garden provides a safe and engaging space for daily play, exploration, and fresh air. Children enjoy a variety of experiences that support their development through play, creativity, and discovery.

With a caring and experienced team, Kids Planet Birstall provides a nurturing environment where children feel confident, supported, and ready to thrive.

I am a Level 3 qualified Early Years professional, DSL and SENCO trained, with 8 years of experience at the setting. I started as an apprentice and worked my way up to Nursery Manager.

As a parent myself, I bring both professional knowledge and personal understanding to my role. My own child attended the setting from 6 months old through to graduation, which has given me a unique perspective on the importance of high-quality care and education for every child.

Our fees cover everything your child needs for a happy, comfortable day, including nappies, wipes, formula milk, and sun cream, so you have one less thing to worry about. We provide freshly prepared, nutritious meals and snacks, catering to all dietary needs to keep little ones fuelled for a day of learning and play. With sports activities to support physical development and the Famly app for real-time updates, we ensure every child gets the best start in a safe, nurturing environment.
