Established in 1991 and acquired by Kids Planet in 2022, Kids Planet Carrington prides itself on having created a comfortable and homely environment, with a long-serving and dedicated team. Specialists in childcare for children from six weeks to five years, Kids Planet Carrington is set in a wonderful Victorian building and is ideally located to serve the local community and parents travelling into Nottingham for work.

Lauren Poundall is Nursery Manager at Kids Planet Carrington.

Lauren originally started her career as a Nursery Practitioner at Kids Planet Sheepbridge and worked her way up to Deputy, before moving to Kids Planet Carrington as Nursery Manager. She holds a Level 3 qualification in Childcare and is currently working towards her Level 5 apprenticeship.

At Kids Planet, we believe in a healthy approach to bodies and appetites, with sociable mealtimes, balanced nutrition and fresh, varied menus. Our menus are healthy and well-balanced. Each nursery setting has an on-site, qualified chef with an in-depth understanding of nutrition, food hygiene, and menu planning.
