Kids Planet Clarence is a welcoming nursery where children are encouraged to play, explore, and grow with confidence. Located on Clarence Avenue in Cleveleys, our vibrant setting is just a few minutes’ walk from the forest and beach, giving children wonderful opportunities to explore nature and enjoy outdoor adventures right on our doorstep.

Our nursery is run by a dynamic and experienced team of Early Years practitioners who excel in messy, explorative play. We believe the experiences children have in their early years help shape who they become, so we offer hands-on activities that spark curiosity, from creative indoor projects to small challenges outdoors. Mealtimes are calm and sociable, giving children the chance to share food, enjoy balanced dishes, and build simple independence skills.

Safety is woven into everything we do, with secure access systems and well-trained practitioners creating a protected space where children can explore freely. We also nurture communication, independence, and social confidence to help children feel excited and ready for school.

I've been part of the Kids Planet family for 10 years and have worked in Early Years for over 16 years. During that time, I've had the privilege of supporting children, families, and colleagues, and I remain just as passionate about giving every child the very best start in life.

I hold a degree in Children, Families and Young People, and I'm committed to promoting excellence in everything we do. In 2024, I was incredibly proud to lead our nursery to an Outstanding Ofsted judgement. I also enjoy supporting other Kids Planet settings, sharing ideas and best practice to help children and teams flourish across the wider family.

I believe a positive attitude can make a real difference, so you'll usually find me with a smile on my face, looking for the good in every situation. Creating a warm, happy environment for children, families, and colleagues is something that's really important to me.

When I'm not at nursery, I love spending time outdoors, especially walking my golden retriever, Arnie, along the beach. I also enjoy making special memories with my godchildren and spending quality time with family and friends.
