Overview
About Clarence
With the forest and beach a few minutes’ walk away, Kids Planet Clarence has plenty of nature nearby to explore. Based on Clarence Avenue in Cleveleys, our nursery makes room for messy play and hands-on discovery, alongside creative experiences indoors. Our team supports your child as they investigate and develop their own ideas.
Mealtimes offer a sociable part of the day, with balanced dishes to try and opportunities for children to practise doing things themselves. Settling-in visits give your child a gradual introduction to nursery and time to get to know us. Term-time places and pram storage are available for families who need them.

ManagerI've been part of the Kids Planet family for 10 years and have worked in Early Years for over 16 years. During that time, I've had the privilege of supporting children, families, and colleagues, and I remain just as passionate about giving every child the very best start in life.
I hold a degree in Children, Families and Young People, and I'm committed to promoting excellence in everything we do. In 2024, I was incredibly proud to lead our nursery to an Outstanding Ofsted judgement. I also enjoy supporting other Kids Planet settings, sharing ideas and best practice to help children and teams flourish across the wider family.
I believe a positive attitude can make a real difference, so you'll usually find me with a smile on my face, looking for the good in every situation. Creating a warm, happy environment for children, families, and colleagues is something that's really important to me.
When I'm not at nursery, I love spending time outdoors, especially walking my golden retriever, Arnie, along the beach. I also enjoy making special memories with my godchildren and spending quality time with family and friends.
Adventures Beyond the Classroom
Bringing Learning to Life with Outdoor Play
At Kids Planet, we believe the great outdoors is one of the best learning environments. Our unique nature-based learning encourages children to explore, take on new challenges, and develop essential life skills through hands-on outdoor experiences. Whether it’s discovering wildlife, growing vegetables, or engaging in active play, we provide endless opportunities for children to learn, grow, and thrive in the natural world.
