Nursery in Crosby

Kids Planet Crosby opened in 2006 and is set in a converted Victorian building with large outdoor areas. The nursery caters for babies through to preschool, with large, spacious rooms and natural, age appropriate resources to inspire magic, awe, and wonder.

Kids Planet Crosby also offers an Out of School and Holiday Club available for children from 4 years up to 11 years old. For more information about the Out of School club, please click here.

Faye and Ruth are the joint Managers here at Crosby. Faye has over 20 years’ experience within the industry, a Level 3 qualification in Childcare, and Level 2 NVQ in Team Leading. She is also a Lead Language Practitioner for Sefton school readiness and communication matters. Ruth has almost 15 years’ experience in the industry and has obtained a Level 3 NVQ in Childcare as well as Leadership and Management.

At Kids Planet, we believe in a healthy approach to bodies and appetites, with sociable mealtimes, balanced nutrition and fresh, varied menus. Our menus are healthy and well-balanced. Each nursery setting has an on-site, qualified chef with an in-depth understanding of nutrition, food hygiene, and menu planning.

Our 3 year old and 1 year old have loved their time at Kids Planet in the baby room and pre-school. We have seen both boys learning and social skills come on rapidly and they both settled in very quickly - my youngest especially who has been very happy in the baby room, developing a strong bond with his key worker. The management team is excellent and lots of photos are provided throughout the day on Parent Zone so you can see how much your little ones are enjoying themselves.

We moved from another Kids Planet Day Nursery to the Davenport branch. The transition was extremely stress-free and the nursery staff went above and beyond to accommodate our son in settling into his new setting. The online system “parent zone” is fantastic as it allows parents/carers to view photographs, see what your child has eaten and learning progress. It is updated regularly so it is great to be able to see the difference the nursery makes to your child’s learning and growth. I would highly recommend Kids Planet Day Nursery. In both locations, we received brilliant attention and care. Our son loves attending nursery and telling us about his days.
