About Lowdham
In the heart of the village, Kids Planet Lowdham gives children multiple indoor spaces and a large garden with a nature-based learning area. Our team supports exploration through sensory activities and outdoor play, building wonder and supporting children as they explore the things that catch their attention.
Experiences are adapted for children with additional needs, with care that takes account of how each child learns and participates. Settling-in visits give families time to meet us and find out how nursery life works before starting. You can choose term-time care if that suits your routine, and use our on-site car park for arrivals and collections.

Lindsey Haycock
ManagerI am the Manager at Kids Planet Lowdham and bring 31 years of experience working within the early years sector. I am NNEB qualified and joined the Lowdham team in January 2023.
One of my favourite features of the nursery is that all rooms have direct access to outdoor space. Our garden offers a wide range of inspiring learning opportunities, including a dedicated Udeskole area where children can enjoy activities such as using tools, den building and sharing stories around the fire pit.
I am incredibly proud of how well the team works together across the nursery. By engaging with all children and supporting one another, we create a positive, nurturing and stimulating environment where every child in our care can thrive.
Learning Through Local Adventures
Exploring the World Around Us
Learning doesn’t stop at the nursery gate. With our very own nursery minibus, we’re able to take our little explorers on regular adventures near and far, from woodland walks and seasonal scavenger hunts to peaceful trips to the park and beyond. Whether it’s collecting leaves for art activities, splashing in local streams, or playing a classic game of pooh sticks, our children thrive through hands-on experiences that spark curiosity, creativity, and connection with nature. Every outing is another opportunity to learn, grow, and make lasting memories.
