Overview
About Romiley
At Kids Planet Romiley, our friendly and qualified team works closely with families to adapt care and support your child’s individual needs. Our experience in supporting additional needs and children’s behaviour helps us understand what each child needs to feel comfortable and take part. Indoor and outdoor environments give them opportunities to explore through play.
Formerly Bee Happy Nursery, we’re on Chichester Road, close to the village and green spaces including Romiley Park and Etherow Country Park. These local surroundings connect our nursery with community life, alongside good transport links for families travelling here. Our team uses its understanding of each child to guide learning and offer support where needed.

Nicola Clare
ManagerI have worked in childcare for over 11 years. I love my job and love how no two days are ever the same.
I am passionate about all things early years and strive to provide high-quality childcare that not only supports our children, but parents and my team as well. I love creating a strong curriculum, and I am very passionate about creating lots of magical spaces full of awe & wonder that the children can explore while here with us at Romiley.
Adventures Beyond the Classroom
Bringing Learning to Life with Outdoor Play
At Kids Planet, we believe the great outdoors is one of the best learning environments. Our unique nature-based learning encourages children to explore, take on new challenges, and develop essential life skills through hands-on outdoor experiences. Whether it’s discovering wildlife, growing vegetables, or engaging in active play, we provide endless opportunities for children to learn, grow, and thrive in the natural world.
