Kids Planet Thrapston

At Kids Planet Thrapston, we’re proud to be a warm, welcoming, and family-focused nursery where children from babies to school age are supported to thrive. Our experienced and caring team is committed to ‘growing happy children, home from home,’ creating an environment where every child feels safe, valued, and inspired to learn.

With tailored support from experienced educators, each child is encouraged to follow their own unique path of discovery through purposeful play, hands-on exploration, and outdoor learning. Our setting nurtures curiosity and confidence from day one, helping children build strong foundations for the future in a space that feels as comfortable as home.

Manager

With over 17 years of experience working in Childcare, I am a dedicated Manager to the children, team and families within the Nursery setting. I believe in an open, honest and trusting policy between families and ourselves, and this reiterates itself with my open door policy for all.
It is magical to see the awe and wonder in all children when they are learning and developing; I find it special to share 'first' moments with families as their child experiences such special and amazing milestones, individual to themselves. I have a passion for nurturing children, and my commitment to the Nursery is to provide a safe, inclusive, and enriching environment that ensures all children in my care is supported to thrive.

At Kids Planet, we believe in making life easier for families, which is why our nurseries offer an all-inclusive approach. Our fees cover everything your child needs for a happy, comfortable day, including nappies, wipes, formula milk, and sun cream, so you have one less thing to worry about. We provide freshly prepared, nutritious meals and snacks, catering to all dietary needs to keep little ones fuelled for a day of learning and play. With sports activities to support physical development and the Famly app for real-time updates, we ensure every child gets the best start in a safe, nurturing environment.

Outdoor Learning & Sleep

Our babies and tots benefit from a calm, natural garden where learning happens all day long. Activities are carefully planned to support key areas like communication and language, with practitioners tailoring experiences to each child’s next steps. We also support outdoor sleeping, giving babies the chance to rest in the fresh air, helping to improve sleep quality, boost sensory development, and encourage healthy daily rhythms.
