Carol Simms
ManagerI have worked in Early Years since 2000, and I am very passionate about giving children the best start, building the foundations that will help and support them to achieve their full potential throughout their lives. I believe that through positive and caring relationships, children will feel safe and secure. Their independence will grow, giving them the confidence to explore the wonderful world around them.
I am incredibly proud of the well-established team at Wyeside, whose wealth of experience creates a nurturing and stimulating environment where each individual child can thrive. We build strong relationships with our Families and support them, working alongside them so they feel welcomed, valued and involved.
I have been the Manager at Wyeside since 2017, and before that I was Deputy and Pre School Lead. I have an NVQ Level 3 in Early Years and a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Early Years Advanced Practice.
I feel very privileged to be part of your little one's Learning Journey.
Adventures Beyond the Classroom
Bringing Learning to Life with Outdoor Play
At Kids Planet, we believe the great outdoors is one of the best learning environments. Our unique nature-based learning encourages children to explore, take on new challenges, and develop essential life skills through hands-on outdoor experiences. Whether it’s discovering wildlife, growing vegetables, or engaging in active play, we provide endless opportunities for children to learn, grow, and thrive in the natural world.
