About Yewlands
At Kids Planet Yewlands, we provide high-quality early years education and care in Leyland, creating a welcoming environment where children feel safe, valued and excited to learn. Our experienced team takes the time to get to know every child, helping them build confidence, independence and a love of discovery from their earliest years.
We encourage children to explore their surroundings, follow their interests and develop their own ideas through curiosity, creativity and play.
We provide dedicated spaces for babies, toddlers and preschool children, with experiences tailored to each stage of development. Outdoor play and exploration are also an important part of nursery life, giving children opportunities to discover nature, develop physical skills and learn through first-hand experiences.
Located on Yewlands Drive, our nursery is conveniently positioned for local families, with nearby bus links and Leyland railway station within easy reach. The surrounding area also offers local shops and schools, making our setting a practical choice for families living and working in Leyland and the surrounding community.
We value strong partnerships with families and keep you informed about your child’s experiences and progress. By working together, we help every child grow in confidence, develop independence and build the skills they need for their next steps.

ManagerI have over 20 years of experience in the early years sector and am passionate about providing the very best start for every child. I hold a Level 3 qualification in Leadership and Management and, following this, went on to university to complete a Foundation Degree in Early Years Childhood and Education Studies.
Building strong partnerships with parents and creating meaningful links within the local community are incredibly important to me. I believe that working together enables children to thrive and reach their full potential.
As a parent of two children myself, I understand how important it is for families to feel supported, valued and confident in their child's nursery experience. My children are my inspiration and the reason behind everything I do.
I lead by example and am dedicated to creating a positive, supportive environment for both children and colleagues. My team will often tell you that my motto is: "Treat everyone the way you wish to be treated."This simple principle is at the heart of how I lead, build relationships and support those around me.
