Bradford nurseries raise £1,528 for Cash for Kids

Three Kids Planet Day Nurseries in Woodside, Wyke, and Clayton have worked together to successfully raise an impressive £1,528 last month for Cash for Kids, a charity dedicated to improving the lives of disadvantaged children and young people in the local Bradford area.

Cash for Kids works tirelessly to combat poverty, loneliness, hunger, illness, and neglect, aiming to support children with additional needs and offer a helping hand whenever necessary. Its mission is rooted in the belief that every child deserves the opportunity to thrive and be their true self.

The fundraising activities across the nurseries included a variety of events for the children to enjoy:

• Woodside hosted a sponsored walk and a crazy hair day, bringing the community together in a fun and energetic way.
• Wyke organised a sponsored walk, a treadmill walk for staff, and a crazy hair day, encouraging everyone in the nursery, staff and children, to take part.
• Clayton held a bake sale and an outdoor festival day, offering a mix of treats and entertainment for all.

Our nurseries have a history of supporting Cash for Kids, donating money, prizes, and presents, particularly during the festive season.
