Jessica Reeds wins EY Teacher of the Year!

Bluebell Lodge

19 April 2023

Kids Planet Day Nurseries is delighted to announce that Jessica Reeds at our Bluebell Lodge Nursery has been awarded Early Years Teacher of the Year!

Today is Early Years Teacher Day, an initiative introduced by Best Practice Network, to celebrate the invaluable role that Early Years Teachers play in classrooms and settings.

As part of this, early years teams have been nominating their hard-working colleagues for awards. Jessica was nominated twelve times by her colleagues and the parents of the children in her care.

Best Practice Network commented to Jessica:

“Your commitment to shaping the minds of children is truly remarkable. You are an outstanding educator, and we are delighted to acknowledge your success. We appreciate your efforts in positively influencing the lives of children.”

Lisa Taylor, Area Manager at Kids Planet Day Nurseries said:

“The team and I are incredibly proud of Jessica’s achievement. We appreciate having such a wonderful early years teacher, who is such a valuable member of our team. Jessica is so warm and friendly, and it is a joy to watch her teach the children in preschool. They absolutely adore her and hang off her every word.”

Gill Mason Head of Training and Development at Kids Planet Day Nurseries said:

“We recognise the incredible role Early Years teachers play in our settings and work in partnership with Best Practice Network through our Training Academy to support and mentor team members to achieve EYITT status – both through our unique graduate entry programme and the upskilling of our existing graduate team members.”
