That’s a Wrap!
What an unforgettable evening we had at the Kids Planet Awards on Saturday, 7th December, at the stunning St George’s Hall in Liverpool! With the fabulous Mark Simmons as our host and lively tunes from the band South West, 500 colleagues from across England and Wales came together to celebrate the outstanding achievements of our teams over the past year.
The evening began with a warm welcome from CEO Clare Roberts and an inspiring speech by Jane Kenyon from Girls Out Loud, the charity we proudly supported on the night. From there, it was all about celebration! We presented 21 well-deserved awards to incredible winners and enjoyed an evening filled with delicious dining, entertainment, and plenty of dancing.
The energy in the room was phenomenal! The cheers, applause, and genuine support for every nominee and winner were truly heartwarming. The atmosphere was electric, and it was a beautiful reminder of the exceptional team we have across Kids Planet.

We were thrilled to raise funds for Girls Out Loud, a multi-award-winning social enterprise that’s making a powerful impact. A group of our Manchester and Liverpool staff are currently participating in their Big Sister mentoring programme, which focuses on supporting teenage girls aged 13–14 who often go unnoticed in school.
These “middle girls,” who might otherwise feel invisible, are encouraged to see their own potential as future leaders, managers, and entrepreneurs. With the guidance of a Big Sister mentor who believes in them, they learn to be bold, brave, and confident in themselves. We’re proud to support this incredible mission to empower the next generation!
Events like this don’t just happen—they’re a labour of love! Huge thanks to Megan Bettoni and Grace Hardcastle for their amazing work in organising such a magical evening, and to Pete Pinnington Productions for making sure everything ran smoothly behind the scenes.
Congratulations to all our nominees and winners! Your passion, dedication, and daily impact on Early Years are truly extraordinary. We’re so proud to celebrate each and every one of you—you are what makes Kids Planet shine!
