Kids Planet Have Landed In Stockport

We’re pleased to announce that Kids Planet Day Nurseries have landed in Stockport. In June 2017, Kids Planet acquired Happy Day Nursery, located on Heath Road in Davenport and is a 60 place nursery. The nursery, which has been established for over 40 years, provides excellent facilities with large and spacious rooms and a secure outdoor area including a mud kitchen providing children with the fresh air and outdoor fun. Located in the Stockport area it has close proximity to the town centre and local parks and libraries.

Kids Planet Davenport is the 19th setting to be added to the Kids Planet Group, which now offers over 1,800 nursery places across the North West. Kids Planet Day Nurseries Ltd was founded in 2008 by chief executive Clare Roberts and her father John Hoban, who is chairman. John’s other daughter Lucy Kaczmarska, joined the Group in 2013 as Director of Early Years.

After first acquiring the first two nurseries in Warrington and Widnes, Kids Planet has quickly grown to become one of the largest groups in the region with nurseries located in Beamont (Warrington), Crewe, Crosby, Dukinfield, Fazakerley, Hale, Higher Broughton, Lymm, Mossley Hill, Prestwich, Sale, Salford, Salford Quays, Springhead, Southport, Urmston, Warrington and Widnes. To date, Kids Planet currently has 13 Ofsted Outstanding nurseries with 5 currently awaiting inspection.
