Day Nursery in Wavertree (Heathfield Road)

Julie, our nursery manager, has been a valued member of our team for over 35 years, bringing a wealth of experience, dedication, and care to her role. She holds a Level 3 NNEB qualification, along with Paediatric First Aid and Level 3 Food Hygiene certificates, ensuring the highest standards of safety and wellbeing for every child. Julie also takes on the important responsibility of Designated Safeguarding Officer within the setting.

Having started her journey in childcare in 1988, Julie feels incredibly privileged to have supported so many families over the years. One of the most rewarding aspects of her career has been seeing children she once cared for return as parents themselves, entrusting her with the next generation.

In her spare time, Julie enjoys gardening and being outdoors, interests that mirror her caring nature and enthusiasm for the natural world—something she incorporates into her daily work with the children.
