Kids Planet Chorley is a bright and welcoming nursery that opened its doors on 21st March 2022. Located in the heart of Buckshaw Village, our purpose-built, 120-place setting provides a warm and nurturing environment for babies through to preschool. The nursery also features a dedicated sensory room, offering children a calming space to explore light, sound, and textures in a gentle, supportive way.

Our practitioners take time to understand what sparks each child’s curiosity, planning playful, hands-on experiences both indoors and in our garden to help them grow in confidence. Mealtimes are relaxed and sociable, with balanced options and opportunities for children to try new tastes and practise simple independence skills.

We are proud of our experienced team, who receive ongoing training to ensure the highest standards of care, emotional support, and safety. We also nurture early independence, communication, and social skills to help children feel confident and ready for school.

Beth Goodier

Manager

Nursery Manager Beth started her Early Years career in 2003. Beth has many early years qualifications including cache Diploma in childcare and education level 3, Advanced apprenticeship in leadership and management level 3, Designated safeguard lead level 2. Food Hygiene level2 and Paediatric first aid. Beth has worked as a Sendco, senior room manager, 3rd in charge, practitioner, Deputy and a manger at several early years settings throughout her career before becoming Nursery Manager at Kids Planet Chorley.
